ABOUT ME

 

I am Pamela and I am an Independent Celebrant that lives and works in the North East of Scotland. I am happy to travel anywhere from Montrose to Aberdeen. 

 

I have worked in research and for last 12 years I have managed a research network in children's medicine.  I am an excellent listener, compassionate and kind, and I am able to organise people and events in a calm and caring manner.

People, animals, nature and science have also been a focus in my work and life. I love hearing people's stories and what makes them unique. Like many people I have experience of being widowed at a young age and of a family member choosing to end their life, so I feel I understand the full range of emotions that we feel in grief. I can empathise with families with sensitivity during the difficult time following their loss.

No matter the cause of death I truly believe in celebrating life, remembering the happier times together and the achievements of the person who lived.
